There's already been a story in the last couple of days come out that she was basically captured and groomed while on a placement in Nigeria as a teenager, so I'm sure the defence is going to go down that route and say she was an unwilling captive.
Her winking or blowing a kiss to him in court probably undermined that a little bit though, so it'll be interesting if she plays ball and drops him in it or not.

Be quite interesting to see how the court case goes actually. i wonder if the high priced barrister defending her will also defend him, or paint her to be unwillingly under his influence, although from the sounds of it she'd side with him over her family in any argument so it could get spicy.
I'm sure the end result will be her getting off basically scot free and him going down for everything.

According to some bird on twitter who claims to be ITK, she has had a child taken into care before and is a drug addict.
The baby who died was identified as being at risk by social services, possibly why they went on the run?

Yes a terrible business for sure (as was that of Nicola Bulley).
I don't wish to appear stone-hearted about either case - both were/are tragedies. I just don't think the public needs to know every dot and comma - around-the-clock - about stories which are, in essence, personal tragedies.
The people of this country, fed by the media, seem far too wrapped up in the inconsequential minutia of people's lives for my liking. If I was a conspiracist (or Auntie Thermite) I'd say that's because those who control the media would far sooner you look over there at the latest circus as it rolls into town than focus on the stuff that really matters.
